Update on In God We Trust special license plate for Kentucky
ROCK would like to announce that the ROCK Cares application for an “In God We Trust” special license plate has been denied by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. This is the 2nd application that been denied for an "In God We Trust plate"; ROCK’s application was denied in 2008. ROCK Cares still has hope for a win-win scenario that would allow an "In God We Trust" special license plate that would provide funding for sexually exploited and victimized women and children around the state. 1. Call the Kentucky Transportation Department at (502) 564-4890 to politely express your disappointment with the decision to deny ROCK Cares’ application. Ask why ROCK Cares wasn't given the chance to change their design when other groups have been extended that opportunity?
